Prerequisites: Experience with Insight Dialogue through an online intro or retreat and mindfulness meditation practice are required.

Attendance: We kindly request participants commit to attending all four sessions. Sessions will not be recorded.

Participation: Participants will be asked to keep their video on, as we will practice with partners in breakout rooms each session.

Dana: This course is being generously offered on a dana-basis. There is no registration fee and no set compensation for the teacher. We invite participants to practice dana (freewill donation) by offering financial support for the teacher.

A four-week course using Insight Dialogue to explore suffering and freedom from suffering within relationship.

The Buddha taught one thing: suffering (dukkha) and its end. In this course, we explore how this foundational teaching unfolds in the live experience of relationships. We will leverage the power of wholesome relationships in our practice container to investigate and soften habitual tendencies that cause suffering in daily life.

Using the structure of Insight Dialogue, we will apply the Buddha’s deepest wisdom of the Four Noble Truths to relationships:

  • Understanding suffering as it appears in relationship
  • Recognizing and abandoning clinging as the cause of relational suffering
  • Experiencing the possibility of freedom from suffering
  • Cultivating the path that leads to its end through relational practice

Relationship is where suffering often becomes most visible and where freedom can be discovered. This course offers a space to explore both, together.

For experienced Insight Dialogue practitioners. Must have attended at least one Introduction to Insight Dialogue course or multi-day Insight Dialogue retreat.
