Embodying Wisdom in Challenging Times: An Introduction to Insight Dialogue
With Michele Zukerberg
May 3, 2025
How do we grow wisdom, joy, and compassion in these relentlessly challenging times?
“In Insight Dialogue practice…we consciously cultivate presence in relationship… we extend the potential for calm, concentration and insight – all central to the sphere of silent meditation – into the interpersonal.”
Rosalie Dores, Insight Dialogue Teacher
Interpersonal relationships can be a source of stress and conflict. They can also be a profound resource for waking up to living healthy, connected lives.
Insight Dialogue is a Buddhist-based interpersonal meditation practice that brings the power of meditative awareness into the context of relationships.
In this introductory workshop, we will explore the six meditation guidelines of Insight Dialogue: Pause, Relax, Open, Attune to Emergence, Listen Deeply, and Speak the Truth. Participants will be guided in silent meditation and contemplative dialogue practices based on Buddhist wisdom teachings. Each encounter can be recognized as a potential for further awakening. Relationships can turn from a place of doubt and confusion to a source of support for developing insight.
