Kalyanamitta Yatra – The Way of Admirable Friends

For more than two years Insight Dialogue has been offered only online, but restrictions are easing, the end of the pandemic may be in sight and we have many new friends who have never experienced Insight Dialogue face to face.

In the Buddha’s time, when the monsoon season ended and conditions allowed the Buddha and his followers to travel, they would move from community to community teaching and offering practice in the towns and villages that welcomed them. Following in the Buddha’s footsteps, Insight Dialogue teachers and facilitators will be traveling to communities around the world offering Insight Dialogue practice in many forms.

Residential retreats are still being offered, but by bringing one or two Insight Dialogue teacher/facilitators to the communities we serve, we can reduce the cost and reduce the carbon footprint. On this Kalyanamitta Yatra two of the teachers are being fully supported, further reducing the cost to local organizers.

If you would like to practice Insight Dialogue face to face in your own community, introduce your sangha or friends to the practice, or simply have someone give a talk, please get in touch. If you are willing to help organize an event, or are simply a participant looking for a nearby event to attend, please let us know. Together we can make anything happen.
