Insight Dialogue: The Path of Awakening Together
With Janet Surrey
May 31, 2015
Come join us for a day of Insight Dialogue practice. Relationships can be a source of great suffering, but can also become vehicles for liberation from suffering. This co-meditation practice cultivates the mindfulness and tranquility of traditional silent meditation in our direct experience with others, as we explore the practice of meditative speaking and listening.
As our relational meditation practice deepens, we begin to experience together a flow of silence and dialogue that enhances loving kindness, compassion, equanimity and nonjudgmental awareness in relationships in the service of freedom and realization of our deepest connection. We will see how relationships can become a vehicle for awakening as we cultivate the meditative factors of awakening together.
This day will be an opportunity to experience this beautiful, engaged relational practice originally developed by Gregory Kramer in the Theravadin tradition of Insight Meditation.
