Metta Programs 2016 Teacher Training Retreat

Welcome to the 2016 Teachers Retreat!
Please register, using the “Register Now” button above, by September 19th. Event details follow:
Accommodations: We will be convening at Hallelujah Farm in the southwestern corner of New Hampshire, in the small town of Chesterfield. We will occupy the whole campus (upper and lower farms) during our stay. We will be accommodated in fully furnished single rooms with bed linens, pillows, blankets, and towels. Bathrooms will be shared.
Meals: Hallelujah Farm will provide vegetarian meals, prepared using mostly homegrown, organic, and local ingredients. They have been informed of, and will accommodate, all dietary requests that were noted in your initial questionnaire.
- Breakfast will include eggs, fruit, yogurt, and some form of grain.
- Lunch will be our primary meal.
- Dinner will include soup and salad.
- Fruit and hot beverages will be available throughout the day.
Ground Transportation: Hallelujah Farm is best accessed via car and is about 1.5 hours from BCBS and 2.5 hours from Logan International Airport (BOS).
To minimize the environmental and economic impact we will do our best to coordinate shared ground transportation among participants. On arrival day, we are aiming for one shuttle from BCBS and one shuttle from Logan (BOS), both leaving around 2pm, and anticipate 1-2 shuttles returning to Logan (BOS) on departure day. If you’re flying in and/or out of Logan, and would like to be included in shared ride considerations, please let us know your arrival and departure times, and flight numbers, via the registration form. We will do our best to accommodate the majority of participants.
Once we have all of your information and have been able to match up shared transportation options, we will send confirmation about individual fees, meeting locations, and times. Please note that the cost will vary depending on how many people are traveling together and payment can be made via Metta, after the retreat.
